Profile Information

What brings you to PCSR?
It is important that you are aware how the issues people bring to therapy often have a significant social context. I'm hoping that joining PCSR will help further that awareness.
What do you do?
Psychotherapist
Anything else you'd like other PCSR members to know about you?
I have worked as a therapist for 26 years now and more and more realise that social factors, in the widest sense, can play a significant part in the issues people bring to therapy. But often these are 'facts' that therapy can do little about. But at least if you are aware of these social realities and your limitations, you will hopefully be more able to empower the client to do something about it.
