I think the drive towards professionalism is killing person centred counselling. I have also just finished my MSc where I had a terrible experience with another counsellor. After some feedback during a course that she didn't like she accused me of racial bullying, despite the fact we were actually friends. She refused to discuss it and I was warned that I wasn't to discuss it in case I offended her. I couldn't sit in the unspoken so didn't attend any more classes. Nobody was willing to tackle this because of the 'rasicm' element
I've been left very disappointed and disillusioned with the person centred community and I'm looking for some sign of hope.

I manage a service for people who hear voices and /or self harm which I co founded in 2011.
I also look after my 9 year old niece who came to live with me in Jan this year
