We want to create a space where members and others can share with each other what they are currently doing and what they would like to do in bringing the political and therapeutic together in their lives. Our ideal is that anyone who wants to can briefly take the floor and talk about their work and ideas in dialogue with others. We may divide into small themed groups depending on numbers.  The kinds of things we are hoping to engage with might include:

  1. National politics/social and economic justice/refugees, asylum and immigration.
  2. Ecopsychology, climate change, and other global and international issues.
  3. Therapy issues such as diversity and equalities, low cost or free therapy, ethics and conduct, regulation.
  4. Deep culture change, spirituality, and the role of therapy therein.

10am—1pm PCSR Open Forum

Today's email prompted me to make up my mind to fork out the train fare from Harrogate and get down for this. Thankyou Andrew / Nick. I would like to talk about our newly funded service at Harrogate Homeless Project, am still reeling from the shock of finding funders and keen to share.
