Psychotherapists and Counsellors for Social responsibility
This supportive group is aimed at anyone who is aware of and concerned by climate change and wishes to make practical and behavioural changes in preparing for a low-carbon future. The themes for each of the meetings are: Low carbon futures, Home energy, Travel & transport, Food & water, and Consumption & waste.
Practicalities: This ‘Carbon Conversations’ group will consist of 6, 2 hour meetings held fortnightly on a Wednesday evening at 7.15 for a 7.30pm start. The cost of £25 per person includes all the course materials (and tea/coffee and biscuits!) The group will meet on the following dates: September 2nd, 16th, & 30th, October 14th & 28th (the date for the 6th ‘reunion’ session is agreed between us) and there will be a maximum of 6 participants.

About us: Kamalamani is a facilitator, psychotherapist, supervisor and writer. Her passion for ecopsychology and climate change combines her former work as an international development worker and lecturer with her current therapeutic work. For information please see: www.kamalamani.co.uk Suhada is a green accountant and software writer who’s become increasingly concerned about climate change over the past decade. A favourite aspect of his work at Bristol City Council is communicating with and supporting colleagues through system changes. He’s an experienced meditation teacher who trained in therapy to support his teaching and group facilitation. In their spare time Kamalamani and Suhada love working at their shared allotment.
